<p>Mõni inimene on hea muusikas, teine matemaatikas, kolmandale sobib füüsika, neljas on osav suhtleja ja viies oskab hästi koostada kirjalikku teksti. Samas võib kõigil neil olla midagi, mida nad ei suuda teha. Seda loetelu võib jätkata pikalt&#8230; Kõik ülesanded, tööd ja aju toimimise viisid on vajalikud. Kujuta nüüd hetk ette, et kõik oleks ühesugused&#8230;</p>



<p>Erinevused on, diagnoosiga või ilma. Diagnoositud erinevusteni jõuab tavaliselt siis, kui inimene vajab toimetulekuks meditsiinilist või psühholoogilist tuge ja keskkonna kohandamist. Ja see on täiesti okei. Kõik ei suuda samas keskkonnas toimida efektiivselt. Mõni vajab vaikust, mõni soovib vajadusel eemalduda. Ka diagnoosita inimestel on keerulisemaid hetki. Keegi ei ole tüüpiline.</p>



<p>Mis puudutab erivajadustesse, siis neid ei ole. Kõigil on ühesugused vajadused. Erinevus on nende vajaduste täitmiseks loodavates tingimustes. Kui inimene vajab liikumiseks abivahendit, siis see on sama vajadus, liikuda. Kui inimene vajab prille, siis on vajadus nägemisele. Me ei ütle ju, et ta on siis eriline ja nõuab erikohtlemist&#8230; Kõigi soov on tulla toime ja tunda end hästi.</p>
